A CBS report from 2018, spoke of a town in San Diego named “Rancho” where over 30 local residents saw their garage doors all stop working in unison. One morning, the community woke up to find many of their garage doors peculiarly being wide open, as though someone has opened them in the night. Baffled residents were said to be using their garage door opener remotes to no avail, changing their positioning, pressing buttons multiple times, and changing the batteries in the remote. Despite their efforts, none of the doors would budge.
